Canelo On Avenging Crawford Loss
Canelo Alvarez says his track record in past rematches proves he can beat Terence Crawford if the two meet again, after Crawford handed him his first loss at 168 pounds by outboxing him on the way to becoming a three-weight undisputed champion.
"As a fighter, we always want revenge. Yeah, I believe I can beat him. I always believe in what I can do. If you look back, I always do good in my rematches and I know what is wrong, what I did wrong. So, yeah, if the opportunity is there, it would be amazing," Canelo
Canelo pointed to his rematch performances against Miguel Vazquez and twice against Gennady Golovkin as evidence he improves when he can make adjustments. The recently retired Crawford is said to have a lucrative rematch offer on the table.
