Anthony Joshua talks up Fury clash at Wembley Stadium

Anthony Joshua said a fight with Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium would be amazing ahead of his Saturday bout with Kristian Prenga in Jeddah.

The former two-time unified heavyweight champion faces Albania's Prenga on the DAZN pay-per-view card after completing his second training camp with Oleksandr Usyk's team. Joshua, now 36, knocked out Jake Paul in December before entrusting his future to coach Iegor Golub and the crew that guided Usyk to undisputed status.

Joshua on Fury showdown and Wembley ambitions

If Joshua beats Prenga and Fury gets past Mariusz Wach in Thailand on Friday, the long-delayed British heavyweight clash could finally materialise. Speculation about venues has ranged from London to Los Angeles, with proposed start times between 9pm and 2am GMT creating logistical headaches for an outdoor winter fight in the UK.

Joshua told The Ring he would welcome a homecoming for the Fury bout. "That would be amazing," he said. "God willing I get through Saturday, everything I've worked on happens in the ring and what I say is what I do. I'll become victorious blahdy blahdy blah and what I believe, happens. It'll be amazing to for it to be [in the UK]. Imagine that? What is the biggest stadium in the UK? Wembley. Spot on. That would be amazing."

The 29-4 fighter described his new camp as anything but comfortable, saying the team pushes him hard for results. Joshua and Fury are both in their mid-30s now, but interest in a fight between them has never been higher.

Joshua fights Prenga on Saturday in Saudi Arabia. Fury meets Wach a day earlier in Thailand.
