Nakrob Fairtex Earns $100,000 Contact With Knockout of Tagior Khalilov

Tagir Khalilov yelled at the referee when he waived a first-round stop to the fight. He thought he could have continued. However, Khalilov was just starting to return to his feet on the referee’s eight count and still wasn’t on steady legs.
Anyone looking at the result of Nakrob Fairtex’s work will see how much this win will change his life. Nakrob has now picked up four straight victories. But more importantly, online boxing news shows that Nakrob’s performance earned him a $100,000 contract.
Khalilov wasn’t just some pushover opponent either. Entering the pairs, flyweight Muay Thai fighter Khalilov was the number four-ranked kickboxer in the division. When the fight opened, both men were eager to exchange kicks with each other.
However, once Nakrob got in tight and could get off his power shots, it wasn’t long before the fight was over. He was able to mix in a right elbow along with a combination that set Khalilov back-first to the canvas. He attempted to get up quickly but lacked the balance to return to the fight.
Nakrob earned the stoppage at the 2:02 mark of the first round and he improved to 66-21 during his career, including a 8-1 record in ONE.
Samingdam Picks Up Impressive Victory
Samingdam Looksuanmuaythai swung a wild left hook at Petseekiew Kor Kampanart that didn’t really come close to landing. Petseekiew got his hand up in time to stop Samingdam’s shot from getting home. However, thinking about defending the wild, looping hook left other areas open.
Samingdam followed that shot with a straight right that blasted Petseekiew in the chin. There was no place for him to go but down. Petseekiew landed hard against the ropes, with his head resting along one of the bottom ropes.
The referee stopped the fight with only 17 seconds left in the first round. Samingdam improved to 4-1 in ONE and 42-7 in his career.
Paeyim Shows First Win Was No Fluke
Paeyim Sor Boonmeerit had a blueprint for how to beat Petporwarit Sor Sommai. The question was would he be as successful in executing that plan as he was the first time around? Paeyim’s strategy once again proved successful according to the latest boxing news onlines.
Paeyim had to avoid some new wrinkles. Petporwarit initially attempted to attack Paeyim by firing off aggressive knees. But he survived the wild attacks after the bell sounded and was able to settle into his gameplan.
Paeyim continued to make progress by chipping away with his boxing. Petporwarit continued to seek out knees but wasn’t able to impress the judges enough to get revenge against his rival.
Copter Proves that He Belongs

Copter Sor Sommai may never hold a championship in ONE. But his performance Friday night proves that at least he knows he is a fighter who deserves to be there. Copter bounced back from a loss in his promotional debut to beat Kiriluang Chor Hapayak by unanimous decision in their strawweight Muay Thai battle.
Copter decided to push the pace from early in the fight. He was aggressive in throwing knees and attempting to use kicks to slow down his opponent. Kiriluang didn’t have many answers for Copter. Copter was able to use his striking at range to keep things in control. He was awarded a decision to improve his record to 44-13.
Kongsurin Impresses Judges

Kongsurin Sor Jor Lekmuangnon hasn’t fought as much as many of his Muay Thai peers have. By outlasting Nicolas Leite Silva in a strawweight fight, he picked up his 19th career victory. However, many Muay Thai fighters in their early 20s usually have about three times as many victories by that point.
But the beauty of combat sports is that not everyone has to have the same story. Having less wear and tear on his body may have also served Kongsurin well. World boxing news shows that Kongsurin improved to 1-1 in ONE, bouncing back after he debuted with a second-round knockout loss in the promotion.
Getting Back Up
Haruyuki Tanitsu didn’t have the perfect start to his 116-pound Muay Thai fight Friday night. Tanitsu thought he was in control when he came out firing off combinations of punches and kicks to the body. But Nguyen Van Thanh wasn’t planning on sitting back and taking a beating.
Van Thanh fired off a counter shot that sent Tanitsu sprawling across the canvas briefly. This served as a good reminder for Tanitsu. If he wasn’t on the top of his game, he could be defeated.
But Van Thanh never recaptured the magic of that moment. Once Tanitsu got back to his feet, he punished Van Thanh for the temporary inconvenience of being sent back to the canvas. Tanitsu dropped Van Thanh the first time with a body kick. When Van Thanh got back up, Tantisu went right back to the body to score another knockdown and earn a stoppage.
Welcome to the Big Show
Kaito Oda didn’t look like a fighter making his ONE debut. Taking on Tran Ngoc Luong in a flyweight MMA fight provided him with an opportunity to wow the crowd. He didn’t waste the opportunity.
Just seven seconds into the fight, Oda landed a heavy hook that sent Tran sprawling to his back. While Tran was able to get up and get back into the fight, he wasn’t the same fighter. Oda leaned on his confidence and superior striking to pepper him throughout the fight. Oda ended up earning a decision victory.
Here is a look at the rest of the fights on the card not mentioned above:
