Munguia Vs. Ryder Pre-Fight Presser – Key Quotes
Jaime Munguia and John Ryder held their final pre-fight presser ahead of their fight on Saturday live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The super middleweight clash takes place with much on the line. Munguia knows a win over Ryder brings him closer to securing a potential Canelo Alvarez bout. This will be his third fight at 168, showing he has enough time to settle in the weight class.
But Ryder will be no pushover since he went the distance with Canelo in Mexico in his last fight. Ryder has the chance to upset the odds, but he may need a knockout to beat the home fighter. Here are the key quotes from the presser.

“I said it three weeks ago, and I’ll say it again. The future is today for a bunch of Golden Boy fighters. This Saturday, the whole world stands in front of Jaime Munguia. If he can win: championship fights, PPV stardom and a place on the pound for pound list are all in reach. “John Ryder is a great fighter. He always comes forward and doesn’t go backwards. I’m very happy to be involved. I really believe that the real winner is going to be the audience watching the fight. They are the real winners,” Fernando Beltran
