Meta and the UFC have deepened their partnership with a new five-year deal that renames the UFC’s Las Vegas facility the Meta Apex.

To celebrate the launch, the facility is undergoing a major renovation. For the first time, fans will be able to buy tickets to attend events in person, with seating expanding to hold up to 1,000 people. The new Meta Apex will also showcase cutting-edge technology, allowing fans to experience fights through interactive VR, AI, and wearable devices like Meta’s smart glasses.

Beyond MMA, the venue will be the official home for Zuffa Boxing, Dana White’s boxing league. The very first Zuffa Boxing event is set for Friday, January 23, 2026, featuring a main event between undefeated Irish star Callum Walsh and Carlos Ocampo. This news follows Dana White’s appointment to Meta’s board of directors last year. While the venue gets a high-tech makeover, it will continue to host combat sports events.

White Reacts

“Meta is always at the forefront of technology and immersive experiences, and their enhancements will change the way fans view live fights. This rebranding comes at the perfect time as the facility is completing a major renovation, expanding capacity, concessions, hospitality, and UFC retail. For the first time ever, fans can come to Meta Apex and experience UFC fights with interactive VR, AI, and wearable technology. I can’t wait for fans to see it,” Dana White said

“So as we go into the new year, the home of Contender Series, the home of some [UFC] Fight Nights, the home of Zuffa Boxing, UFC BJJ will now be called the Meta APEX. We’ve done a five-year deal with Meta. So welcome to the new Meta APEX,” White added

“Extending our partnership with UFC with the Meta Apex is about more than just a venue; it’s about redefining how fans and athletes connect and experience the sport,” added Alex Schultz, CMO & VP of analytics at Meta. “We’re thrilled about the future and the opportunity to bring our technology even deeper into UFC, giving fans the chance to immerse themselves in the action in new ways,” Alex Schultz (CMO & VP of analytics at Meta)
