McGregor Wants A Rematch With Mayweather – ‘KO Incoming’
Conor McGregor may be targeting a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. after sharing some footage of him boxing.
McGregor crossed over into the boxing world in 2017 when he made his debut against ‘TBE.’
Despite getting stopped in the fight, Conor managed to last ten rounds with one of the best fighters of all time.
After the defeat, it turned out that Conor reportedly took away $100 million for the bout.
While that may have softened the blow somewhat, the pair were linked with a rematch for sometime.
And now McGregor is confident he would stop Mayweather, as he shared some old training footage.

“Don’t forget, I played ping pong with Floyd’s head. I carried him! In the rematch I am going to use this style of attack but alongside a more destructive set of shots on top also.
“B4, it was just ping pong, this time it’s ping pong and babe Ruth with a baseball bat. KO incoming,” McGregor
Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following factors. McGregor has not had a competitive fight in any combat sport since his loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021.
During the course of that process, McGregor broke his leg which did keep him out.
Although he was expected to return this year, so far there has been no news. After all, he has not entered the USADA testing pool.
But if McGregor were to take on Mayweather in a rematch, then the chances of a UFC return would be slim. After all, the sum of money offered with Mayweather would eclipse a UFC purse.
Regardless of what the case may be, McGregor has earned the right to decide what he wants to do with his career.
He is a cash cow in the UFC, which can crossover into other sports. And even if the Mayweather bout does not happen, there is always a chance of a boxing bout with Jake Paul.
