Conor McGregor will be a host of BKFC’s new high-stakes docuseries as the promotion prepares to launch what it calls the most lucrative tournament in combat sports history.

As a part-owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, McGregor will lead the search for the “World’s Baddest Man,” a competition featuring a massive $25 million prize pool. The tournament, which officially kicks off in March 2026, will feature a 32-man bracket in an open-weight format, with fighters ranging from 185 pounds to the 265-pound heavyweight limit. The stakes are unprecedented for bare-knuckle boxing:

  • Grand Prize: The winner will walk away with $15 million.
  • Runner-Up: The finalist will receive a $1 million payout.
  • Docuseries: Partnering with KissFly Productions, the promotion will begin filming the behind-the-scenes series in May 2026, with McGregor serving as the on-screen guide and host.

While McGregor remains a “player-manager” figure in BKFC, his primary focus for his own fighting career remains a potential appearance on the UFC White House card in June 2026. BKFC President David Feldman has clarified that McGregor’s role in the “World’s Baddest Man” project is strictly as a host and promoter.

Feldman Reacts

“We just recently entered into an agreement with Kiss Fly Productions for a docuseries that’s going to start in May of 2026, It will kick off the World’s Baddest Man Tournament, a $25 million tournament, the highest prize in any fighting tournament in history. We will search the world. We’re going all over the globe to find who will be named the World’s Baddest Man. The docu-series will follow these fighters throughout the journey. Conor McGregor is going to be the host of the show. It’s going to be an amazing show, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what it has in store for us in 2026,” Feldman said

Outside of this, McGregor has not had a fight since his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Although he has been linked with a boxing crossover and a BKFC debut, he still has two fights left on his UFC contract. Conor will remain hopeful that he fights at the UFC White House card, although Dana White has said no talks will take place over a fight until February. But for now, McGregor has plenty to keep himself occupied outside the Octagon.
