McGregor Teases Fans With His Latest Training Footage – ‘This Is A Dangerous McGregor’
Conor McGregor has kept fans over his UFC return as he shared some training footage.
McGregor is expected to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29. However, the Irishman has raised doubts over his appearance. The press conference for McGregor-Chandler was meant to go ahead on June 3. The tickets for the presser sold out in nine minutes. However, the UFC canceled it at the last minute until further notice. McGregor responded by stating obstacles were preventing it from happening.
“In consultation with the UFC, today’s press conference was cancelled due to a series of obstacles outside of our control. I apologize to my Irish fans, and fans around the world, for the inconvenience and appreciate all your passion and support. I can’t wait to put on the greatest all-time show in the Octagon,” McGregor stated

Ariel Helwani responded by suggesting that the UFC had put out ‘feelers’ for the card as speculation grew that they were looking for a replacement. While that may have been the case, Helwani qualified those comments by stating that he was confident the fight would go ahead as planned.
The Notorious then shared a picture of himself from the doctor’s office, suggesting he may have been injured. While McGregor was smiling in the photo, it raises the question of whether fans will see him in the Octagon again. His last UFC appearance in 2021 ended in a defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He suffered a broken leg, which could have ended his career.
Since his time away from the UFC, McGregor has been occupied with non-related UFC ventures. He made his acting debut in Road House and became a part owner of BKFC. None of those ventures aided his UFC return. And yet, McGregor has increased hopes that fans will see him fight following his latest training footage. The footage shows McGregor sparring using various techniques such as grappling, striking and kicking. When asked about the fight, both McGregor and Chandler were confident about getting a win.

“I’m coming back with a vengeance and I’m coming back with skill… He has his set movements, set pattern he moves in, and his set shots. I’m aware of them and I’m preparing for a multitude of outcomes and you know, [I’m] getting myself as ready as I can be. And I’m confident that all my shots will land,” McGregor
“He is historically always a very exciting, explosive guy, right out of the gate. I’m historically, not even historically, I promise you I’ll be explosive and run toward the center of that octagon on June 29, right when the fight starts and you’re going to see two guys who are going to get into a head-on collision car crash in the middle of T-Mobile Arena on June 29 and may the best man win. And I have a sneaky suspicion on who it is,” Chandler
With three weeks to go until the fight, McGregor is leaving his fans guessing. But that will only increase the anticipation to see him return.
