McGregor On Khabib’s Seized Bank Accounts - 'Broke, Tell Him Push-Ups For Cash'

Conor McGregor has reacted to reports that the Russian authorities have seized Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bank account due to unpaid taxes.

Reports first emerged that Khabib had underpaid his taxes. Mash.ru and RT, two outlets, alleged that Khabib owed the Russian authorities 300 million rubles, amounting to $3 million. It was believed that there were discrepancies in the paperwork for the taxes. While that may have been the case, those from Khabib’s camp denied this. But rumors are continuing to swirl, resulting in McGregor having his say. The Irishman had a swipe, referring to an alleged incident that Khabib made a homeless man do push-ups for cash.

McGregor On Khabib

“Broke and on the run if you see him tell him push-ups for cash. I heard he is now a porta potty in Dubai,” McGregor said

McGregor and Khabib’s feud was shown in their UFC 229 clash in 2018. Before the fight, McGregor threw a chair at Khabib’s team bus. That was then followed up by a fiery presser, with McGregor accused of disrespecting Khabib’s Islamic religion. The fight played out, with Khabib stopping McGregor via a fourth-round submission.

After the win, Khabib jumped over the Octagon as a brawl broke out. Since that moment, McGregor has fired various verbal shots at Khabib. He reacted to reports that the Russian authorities killed Gadzhimurad Kagirov, a man accused of terror attacks in Dagestan. While Kagirov was not a part of Khabib’s team, he did train at their gym. McGregor had plenty to say.

McGregor Reacts

“In the terrorists gym when a tester showed up they would hold him hostage and give a random clean persons urine vs the fighters they were looking to test. All will come out now. When this comes down on top of them, watch what surfaces. There is a video of khabib walking into a premise full of people and smashing it up entirely with a bat, threatening all those inside. All will come out. Mystic Mac,” McGregor said

“I fought this little…[man]made rate with a full broken foot. I should have postponed like I done this time. For what did I give this little cousin…any advantage for. He [worried] himself on that bus and showed his true chicken heart…Mad spoilt brat. Now you are..[done] When you die I celebrate,” McGregor stated

If Khabib needs money, The Eagle may consider a return to the UFC. He is one of the best-ever UFC fighters. He retired with a 29-0 record, beating some of the best in the division. Victories against Justin Gaethje, Conor McGregor, and Dustin Poirier made a massive favorite with the fans. He retired after the passing of his father, saying he promised his mother he would not fight again.

Khabib ultimately left at his peak. However, if he does come back, there will be a big McGregor rematch. Conor is no longer the same fighter, but the fight would break UFC records. Their fight already has the record for the most UFC PPVs sold at 2.4 million. But any chance of The Eagle returning is slim. He has been working as a cornerman for Islam Makhachev. He did so as Islam beat Poirier to retain his UFC Lightweight Title. Since Khabib is known for keeping his word, it is hard to see him returning.
