McGregor Calls Khabib A ‘Fake Lying Rat’ Following Dagestan Terror Attacks
Conor McGregor has hit out at Khabib Nurmagomedov following some terrorist attacks in Dagestan after one of Khabib’s gym members was allegedly linked to the event.
According to reports, Dagestan has been facing terror attacks. It is alleged that gunmen reportedly set up shootings at synagogues, police stations, and churches. It is reported that someone from Khabib’s gym, Gadzhimurad Kagirov, was one of the terrorists killed by authorities. Kagirov had an MMA record of 2-0 but had not fought since 2021.
McGregor has not been on good terms with Khabib, which was shown during the build-up to their fight in 2018 at UFC 299. The fight holds the PPV record for 2.4 million buys. The build-up was marred by controversy, with McGregor throwing a chair at Khabib’s bus. Meanwhile, the Irishman disrespected his Islamic religion.

Khabib would beat McGregor via a fourth-round submission. A brawl would break out after the win, leaving the two on bad terms. Since then, McGregor has fired verbal shots at Khabib. He reacted to reports that Khabib had underpaid his taxes to the Russian government, something which his team denied. McGregor has had another verbal incident after this event following Khabib’s response.
“My condolences to all the relatives and friends of the victims. May Allah save us all from such situations and grant us a peaceful sky over our heads. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, and let everyone look around themselves and around their children with whom they interact with and who is around them. Educating souls is more important than educating bodies,” Khabib said

McGregor On Poirier
McGregor then turned his attention to Dustin Poirier. The Diamond will appear as an analyst at UFC 303. McGregor was meant to headline the card against Michael Chandler on June 29. But The Notorious withdrew after a broken toe, leaving Alex Pereira to headline against Jiri Prochazka. McGregor has faced Poirier three times. The Diamond has a winning record of 2-1. Their last fight took place at UFC 264 as Poirier won by a first-round stoppage. McGregor ended up breaking his lead. Before and after the fight, McGregor made various comments about Dustin’s wife. He claimed that she was in his DMs.

“If it was real and my wife was messaging him or something like that, then it’s a good one. But, if it’s fabricated, me and my wife were laughing at it while at the grocery store. There’s no-holds-barred,” Poirier
Now, McGregor has made further disparaging remarks. Poirier recalled how he got angry when another man was talking to his wife in her ear. That caused McGregor to respond.
“So me and my wife Jolie were at mardi gra this one time and a guy came over and bent her over a fence like this and was whispering in her ear and I just saw red. Bent her over and ear [expletive] her…He was seein red bro. Sexy red hahahaja,” McGregor
While McGregor may be out of the Octagon, he is trying to keep himself relevant.
