Mark Zuckerberg Reveals ACL Tear, Will The Elon Fight Happen?
In some latest MMA news, Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that he suffered an injury while training for MMA, which is going to keep him out of action for some time.
The revelation arrives shortly after Elon Musk raised hopes of a cage fight between the pair once again. The duo were initially linked with a fight after Musk suggested that he was willing to fight Zuckerberg after reports that the latter was trying to create a rival to X, which has now transpired with his platform, Threads.
Thereafter, the Colosseum in Rome was mentioned as a venue with even Dana White confirmed that both men were serious about the fight.
However, talks broke down with Zuckerberg claiming that Musk was not serious about the bout. In response, the Tesla CEO denied that this was the case, showing his desire to fight.
Zuckerberg And Musk
“I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious, and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously,” Zuckerberg stated
“He accused me of not being serious, and I said, ‘Listen, at the end of the day, I’ll fight you any place, anywhere, under any rules. That’s what I said. He said name the place. I’m happy to fight him in a house, on a mouse, with a louse we’d like, go full Doctor Seuss here. I’m a way bigger than him. This is unfair. I don’t think he should fight me,” Musk said
But now Zuckerberg has confirmed that he suffered a torn ACL during a training session. In the images here, we can see Zuckerberg in hospital after he has had surgery.

Zuckerberg has since then stated the following comments: “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support,” Zuckerberg
Despite this being the case, once the recuperation period has been done, there is always a chance that Zuckerberg could call for the fight once again.
Such a bout is likely to break pay-per-view records, with question marks over which MMA organization will host it. The UFC is likely to be the favorite.
However, the PFL has shown that they are growing into a competitive brand that will no doubt provide some serious competition moving forward.
