Khabib's Manager Threatens To Spit At McGregor

Ali Abdelaziz has vowed to spit at Conor McGregor the next time he sees him.

The comments are in reply to McGregor’s response to some terror attacks that took place in Dagestan, the place where Khabib Nurmagomedov is from. According to reports, gunmen conducted various attacks on police stations, churches and synagogues. One of the men killed by the authorities was Gadzhimurad Kagirov. The fighter trained at Khabib’s gym. However, he was not a part of Khabib’s team. In addition, he had not fought in MMA since 2021, with only a 2-0 record. Khabib responded appropriately, expressing his sadness at the event.

Khabib’s Comments

“My condolences to all the relatives and friends of the victims.. May Allah [God] save us all from such situations and grant us a peaceful sky over our heads. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, and let everyone look around themselves and around their children with whom they interact with and who is around them. Educating souls is more important than educating bodies,” Khabib said

McGregor and Khabib have been on bad terms since they fought in 2018. Khabib secured a win via a fourth-round submission at UFC 229. Before the fight, there was mass controversy as McGregor attacked Khabib’s team bus. McGregor disrespected Khabib’s Islamic faith and took out his revenge in the Octagon.

After the win, a brawl broke out, with Khabib jumping over the cage. But any chances of that feud dying down have stopped. McGregor slammed Khabib after reports he did not pay enough of his taxes to the Russian government, something Khabib denied. Conor has taken things a step further with his comments in response to the attacks.

McGregor And Abdelaziz

“FAKE LYING RATS…#Conorwasright #Payyourtaxes #deadrats,” McGregor

Now, Abdelaziz has responded with his own comments.

“I can’t wait to see you and spit in your face,” Abdelaziz stated

McGregor needs to remain focused on his career. He pulled out of his UFC 303 fight with Michael Chandler due to a toe injury. While he expects to return this year, he has not fought since his UFC 264 loss in 2021. He has had three losses out of his previous four fights, so he must win on his return. McGregor is 35, and further inactivity will only harm him. But he has targeted a return soon.

“We just adjust. Everything is moving. Everything is moving parts, so I’m good. The injury is a nuisance. It’s painful. I’m not going to lie. It’s very, very painful – probably even more than the leg, and that’s the truth. I’ll tell you why: The leg was at least wrapped up. I couldn’t access it. The foot is just there still. It’s like it’s exposed or something. It’s a bit painful, but it comes with the territory. I need to just dial it in, get my training camps correct.August-September … August-September, I’d love. You know the way it is. I’m in recovery mode,” McGregor said
