Parker had to contend with a last minute replacement after Daniel Dubois pulled out of their IBF Heavyweight Title clash last minute due to medical grounds. It was the second time a fighter had pulled out of this card after Floyd Schofield did the same against Shakur Stevenson with an illness. Parker arrives into the fight in the best form of his career. Parker has secured two big wins in his last two bouts, beating Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
He weighed in a career heaviest at 267 pounds. He takes on a knockout artist in Bakole, who has only lost once. That was a defeat against Michael Hunter. That might be his best route to victory because fighting Parker on such short notice for 12 rounds is going to be very hard.
