Jake Paul Hits Career-High Weight, Faces Off Intensely with Andre August

Jake Paul weighed in a career heaviest for his cruiserweight fight against Andre August on December 15th, 2023.

The Problem Child takes on a tricky test as he fights his only second professional boxer. His first experience against Tommy Fury ended in defeat as he came up short via a split decision. Although Paul did bounce back with a win over Nate Diaz, he has yet to inflict a loss on a pro boxer. A win puts Paul closer to fulfilling his world-champion dream. Paul hit the scales at 199.4 pounds, 16 pounds more than his fight with Tommy Fury.

Paul Vs. August

August has the chance to create history. He is on a five-fight-win streak after recently returning to beat Brandon Martin in August. Before that, he had been out of the ring for four years. A victory secures him a rematch, lucrative paydays, and the chance to face Tommy Fury or KSI potentially. August weighed in at 198.6lbs.

In chief support, Shadasia Green and Franchon Crews Dezurn square off for the right to win the vacant WBC super middleweight belt. The former champion, Savannah Marshall, was meant to face her mandatory, Green. But Marshall withdrew with an injury, making the two boxers the beneficiaries. Green weighed 167.2 pounds, and Crews Dezurn weighed 167.6 pounds.

“Man, I just love this s***. It’s gonna be an absolute movie, I’m gonna out-box the boxer and he’s going to sleep,” Paul

“Man I’m ready, it is what it is, I’m ready. I’m gonna shock the world, I’m gonna put him down, I’m tired of all that talking, all that talking is over with, tomorrow it’s going down,” August
