In the latest boxing news, Jake Paul has confirmed his upcoming fight will take place on December 15th, 2023.

The bout will mark Paul’s ninth fight as a professional boxer, having previously beaten Nate Diaz in his last fight via a unanimous decision.

The only defeat Paul has suffered was a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury, although talks of a rematch continue to rumble on.

“The Tommy Fury rematch is right there. Tommy’s going to want that payday. Payday, Tommy. But knowing where I’m going, my improvement, my new team that I have, my new mindset and elevating every single day in the boxing gym, from what I saw in Tommy, I know in the rematch I’m going to beat that guy. I’m going to show y’all how to take a loss, come back, win against Nate Diaz and win again when it’s time to put it all on the line. Respect to Tommy for remaining undefeated, 10-0. I’m excited to run that back as soon as we can” Paul said

As of now, an opponent has yet to be confirmed, as a venue is also being considered. This naturally begs the question: Who could Paul face?

Well, a bout against Dillon Danis could materialize since the MMA fighter did call out Paul following his disqualification against his brother, Logan Paul. And those comments were responded to as Jake hinted at the possibility of facing Danis.

Paul On Fury

“I will always have my brother’s back. I chose not to respond to the puppet’s countless tweets as it would only amplify his harassment. But make no mistake, if Logan needed me to step in, I would take great joy in knocking that maggot out. See you soon,” Paul stated

Meanwhile, there is an outside chance that Paul could face KSI. Following the latter’s loss to Fury, Paul admitted that there is enough of a background story for the two to get in the ring.

After all, KSI has secured a win over Logan, making it possible for Jake to avenge that loss for his brother. And that is why Jake was very vocal following KSI’s defeat to Fury.

Paul On KSI

“Take it [the loss] like a man. Don’t be a sore loser. You lost. Tommy had a point deducted and you still lost. But I wasn’t impressed with either man. I thought Tommy fought way better against me, came in better prepared. Tonight he was flat footed, kind of awkward. And KSI was kind of good for one round in the first round and then got tired after that. But I still want to decapitate KSI. We have to finish what we started,” Paul said

Regardless of who Paul faces, the pay-per-view numbers show that the ‘Problem Child’ has generated enough of a demand to see him get in the ring.

The Diaz bout sold a reported 700-000 pay-per-views for a bout against a non-professional boxer. And there is no getting away from that.
