Garcia & Benn No Longer The Same After Failed Tests

Ryan Garcia suffered a shock defeat to Rolando Romero on his return from his boxing ban after failing VADA tests for Ostarine, as fans question his career.
Garcia suffered a unanimous decision defeat, as he tasted the canvas in the second round in a flat performance. Romero countered Garcia’s left hook to drop him, as Ryan was reluctant to engage from there onwards. Ryan has now harmed any chances of a Devin Haney rematch after his initial win was overturned to a no-contest due to the failed tests. The results have raised questions over his prior failed tests. Garcia and Romero’s fight produced the fourth fewest number of punches ever.

Haney reacted immediately by suggesting it may have been due to the absence of PEDs. Haney’s team were suggesting that Ryan’s physique was slender in the Romero fight, despite him boxing at 147. They also suggested that his voice had changed, hinting this may have been due to the absence of Ostarine.

Benn’s Form
Conor Benn has also not looked the same since coming back from his failed tests for Clomiphene. The boxer has had three fights, winning two and losing one. He secured decision wins against Rodolfo Orozco and Peter Dobson. Neither of those names are elite names, and yet, Benn never looked like stopping them.
While he was boxing at 154 pounds, he talked up his punch power, saying he would stop Eubank at 160. Benn never looked like stopping Eubank. And even if he had done so, that would have in part been due to Eubank’s condition. Eubank Jr. failed to make 160 while also having to abide by the ten-pound rehydration clause. Boxing fans are now understandably questioning Garcia and Benn’s returns to boxing.
