Professional Career

Bormann made her professional debut on December 15, 2017, with a first-round TKO victory over Kitti Kolompar at the Tagungszentrum in Furth im Wald, Germany. This debut set the stage for a series of dominant performances. In 2018, Bormann quickly established herself as a rising star in the boxing world. She secured multiple TKO victories over opponents like Carina Greimel, Sonja Pilipovic, and Anja Jankovic. Her relentless pursuit of success culminated on May 12, 2018, when she claimed the vacant BDB International Flyweight title with a seventh-round TKO against Klaudia Ferenczi at the Eisstadion in Augsburg. The victory not only showcased her power but also her ability to compete at a higher level of competition.

Bormann’s career continued to ascend as she captured the Global Boxing Union (GBU) and WIBF World Light Flyweight titles on June 16, 2018, with a unanimous decision win over Oksana Romanova. She successfully defended these titles multiple times, including a dominant performance against Anne Sophie Da Costa on May 4, 2019, in Frankfurt, where she also secured the vacant WBF World Light Flyweight title. Her winning streak and title defenses cemented her reputation as a formidable champion. On December 14, 2019, Bormann faced Lotta Loikkanen and retained her titles with another unanimous decision victory at the Weihnachtscirkus in Karlsruhe, Germany. This victory demonstrated her consistency and skill in the ring.

After a brief hiatus, Bormann returned to the ring in 2021 with a decisive win over Catalina Diaz, capturing the vacant WBC Silver Minimum and WIBF World Minimum titles. She continued her dominance by winning the vacant IBO World Minimum title against Ana Arrazola on May 21, 2022, showcasing her ability to compete at the highest levels. Despite a setback on December 16, 2023, when she lost a split decision to Yesica Nery Plata for the WBA Super World Light Fly and WBC World Light Fly titles, Bormann bounced back with a unanimous decision win over Tamara Elisabet Demarco on May 4, 2024, to claim the vacant IBO World Minimum title.
