Professional Career

Ricardo Rafael Sandoval made his debut on June 18, 2016, Sandoval quickly demonstrated his prowess in the ring with a third-round TKO victory over Adalberto Solares in Los Algodones, Mexico. His early career was characterized by a series of dominant performances, including a string of knockout wins against opponents like Hector Garcia and Ulises Gabriel Rosales. In 2019, Sandoval’s career gained significant momentum when he captured the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental flyweight title with a sixth-round TKO victory over Christian Aranda Orenday. He successfully defended this title against Marco Sustaita later that year. Sandoval continued his rise with notable wins, including a seventh-round knockout of Raymond Tabugon in February 2020, showcasing his power and skill on the international stage.

Sandoval’s success continued into 2021, where he delivered a standout performance against Jay Harris, securing an eighth-round knockout in Bolton, England. This victory solidified his reputation as a formidable contender in the flyweight division. He followed this up with another impressive win, stopping Carlos Buitrago in the seventh round in December 2021 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
