Osleys Iglesias began his career on July 7, 2011, with a points victory over Luis M. García in Camagüey, Cuba. This debut win set the stage for a career characterized by resilience and determination. Over the years, Iglesias has faced numerous opponents, both domestic and international, consistently proving his mettle in the ring.

 

Throughout his career, Iglesias has competed in various prestigious tournaments and national championships. He frequently showcased his skills in the Cuban National Championships, where he battled some of the best boxers in the country. Notable among his performances was his run in the 2015 Cuban National Championships, where he secured victories over Reinier Pérez and Yainier Abreu before ultimately falling to Arlen López in the finals. This pattern repeated in subsequent years, with Iglesias often making it to the later stages of the championships, including a semi-final finish in 2017 and a finals appearance in 2018, again facing the formidable Arlen López.

 

Iglesias has also tested his skills on the international stage, participating in the World Series of Boxing and other significant events. His victories over fighters like Maxim Koptyakov in Volgograd, Russia, and Gleb Bakshi in Moscow, Russia, underscore his ability to compete and succeed against top-tier international opponents. In 2019, Iglesias had a particularly busy year, with a series of fights in both Cuba and Germany.
