Professional Career
Fadhili Majiha, a Tanzanian boxer, began his professional career on May 24, 2008, with a unanimous decision win over Ramadhani Kumbele at the Traveltime Hotel in Dar-Es-Salaam. This victory marked the start of an active career, where he quickly established a reputation for his resilience and skill in the ring. Throughout 2008, he secured several wins, including a TKO victory over Ally Abdallah and a knockout against Rashid Chembela, both in the first round. His impressive performance early in his career showcased his potential and determination.
In 2009, Majiha’s career gained momentum as he continued to dominate his opponents. He won the vacant Tanzania Pro Boxing Commission Tanzanian Super Fly title with a unanimous decision victory over Shabani Madilu. Although he faced a setback with a knockout loss to Vusi Malinga in a bout for the vacant WBO Africa Bantamweight title, Majiha demonstrated his tenacity by bouncing back with several wins, including a TKO victory over Ramadhani Kumbele and a unanimous decision against Zuberi Kitandura. His resilience and determination to succeed were evident throughout this period.
Despite experiencing several draws and a loss to Mudde Robinson Ntambi for the Universal Boxing Organization World Super Fly title in 2011, Majiha continued to pursue his career with vigor. He claimed the Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania Tanzanian Fly title and the Universal Boxing Organization International Fly title by defeating Juma Fundi. Although he faced tough competition, such as losses to Marlon Tapales and Panya Uthok in 2014, Majiha persisted and secured notable victories, including a TKO win against Francis Miyeyusho in 2015 and a knockout victory over Elijah Mringie in 2016.
Majiha’s career continued with significant bouts, including a unanimous decision win over Gabriel Ochieng in Nairobi and a split decision loss to Jeson Umbal in Singapore. In 2017, he faced tough opponents like Muhamad Ridhwan and Kudura Tamimu, showing his ability to compete internationally. Despite facing several losses, including a points decision to Andrew Selby in 2019, Majiha remained resilient. He claimed victories over opponents like Patrick Kimweri and Abdallah Zamba, demonstrating his enduring skill and determination in the ring.
