Professional Career

 

Goulamirian began his career with a series of early wins, including a first-round TKO against Adrian Bleszynski in May 2011. Building on this strong start, he continued to dominate his opponents, quickly gaining a reputation for his powerful punches and aggressive style. Goulamirian’s rise in the cruiserweight division saw him securing several notable victories. In March 2016, he won the France cruiserweight title with a fifth-round TKO against David Radeff. This victory marked the beginning of his ascent to higher levels of competition. He continued to defend his titles successfully, including a unanimous decision win over Andrei Kniazev in May 2016 and a series of knockout victories that highlighted his prowess in the ring.

 

In March 2018, Goulamirian captured the WBA (Regular) cruiserweight title by defeating Ryad Merhy with an eleventh-round TKO. He successfully defended this title multiple times, including a TKO victory over Mark Flanagan in October 2018 and a fourth-round knockout against Kane Watts in November 2019. Goulamirian’s ability to consistently defend his titles showcased his dominance in the cruiserweight division. One of the significant milestones in Goulamirian’s career was his victory over Constantin Bejenaru in December 2019, where he retained the WBA (Super) cruiserweight title after Bejenaru retired in the tenth round. Goulamirian continued his winning streak with a unanimous decision victory over Alexey Egorov in November 2022, solidifying his position as one of the top cruiserweights in the world. However, Goulamirian faced a significant challenge in March 2024 when he fought Gilberto Ramírez. Despite a valiant effort, Goulamirian lost the bout by unanimous decision, resulting in the loss of his WBA (Super) cruiserweight title.
