Making his professional debut on December 2, 2020, at Production Park Studios in South Kirkby, England, Azim secured a points victory over Ed Harrison, setting the tone for his explosive entry into professional boxing. Azim quickly distinguished himself as a formidable contender with his aggressive fighting style and powerful punches. Throughout 2021 and 2022, he consistently demonstrated his ability to dominate opponents, achieving a series of knockout victories that showcased both his technical skill and raw power. Notable early victories include a first-round knockout against Connor Marsden and a spectacular one-minute and fifty-four-second knockout of Michel Daniel Cabral in September 2022, underscoring his potential as a knockout artist.

His rapid ascension continued with a decisive victory over Anthony Loffet in June 2022, where he claimed the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental light-welterweight title. After securing a unanimous decision win against Santos Reyes, he faced Franck Petitjean in November 2023 for the European light-welterweight title.
