Fans Rip Conor Benn For Pushing Eubank Jr. – Benn Is A Clown’

Fans have hit out at Conor Benn after he accosted Chris Eubank Jr. during the latter’s build-up for his next fight.
Eubank will box on Saturday in his first fight in over a year since beating Liam Smith Jr. He stopped Smith to avenge the defeat he suffered in the first fight where he was stopped for the first time in his career. The Smith fight occurred after Benn’s fight with Eubank was called off. Ben failed VADA tests for Clomiphene, meaning the British Board of Control did not sanction the fight. He continued to maintain his innocence, first arguing that it was a case of contamination. He was subsequently suspended by UKAD, after which the National Anti-Doping Agency lifted the suspension.
However, reports indicated that the suspension was removed due to issues of jurisdiction. That was due to alleged question of whether VADA could enforce UKAD findings. Ben was subsequently allowed to only box outside of the UK. He faced Peter Dobson and Rodolfo Orozco. While he defeated them by a unanimous decision, he did not look like the same fighter he was prior to testing positive.
He was suspended again. He is currently facing a battle to clear his name. But that did not prevent Benn from trying to build up a future fight with Eubank. The following video shows him confronting Eubank before he pushes him and moves away. But Eubank appears unfazed as he smiles at Ben, showing he would not let the latter get into his head.
Eubank Vs. Benn
“I’ll see you tomorrow, after the fight. I’ll…give it to you. Yeah, of course, mate. You’re…lucky you’re fighting tomorrow. “I’ll [mess] you up. Watch what happens, dead boy walking. I’ll give you a good ass-beating in front of 60,000, that’s what’s gonna happen. I’ll be there tomorrow,” Benn stated
Nevertheless, the chances of the fight happening are much smaller than what they previously were. Benn’s stock has dropped dramatically. His two performances since the failed VADA tests showed that his knockout power had disappeared. There were question marks over whether Benn’s failed tests impacted his prior performances. There are also question marks over whether Benn can mentally return from that since he has continued to maintain his innocence.
Eubank Jr. will also have more leverage going into this fight. He will be able to use Benn’s controversy to add more stipulations onto a contract, putting Ben into more of a lower position as the B side. That will skew the odds heavily in Eubank’s favor. While Benn may still take the fight, since he has lost an enormous amount of money due to the suspension, it is unlikely that he will be put in a position to pull off the win. He will have to jump up two weight classes and fight at 160 pounds, which he has never done before. And boxing fans did not give him any sympathy, as they shouted at him for his antics.
