Fans React to McGregor’s Wild BKFC Speech – ‘I’m The Big Boss Around Here’

Fans have reacted to Conor McGregor’s bizarre BKFC KnuckleMania 5 speech, where Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens will headline this event over the weekend.
McGregor has been making waves of late for all the wrong reasons. He was recently found liable in a civil sexual lawsuit filed by Nikita Hand. McGregor was ordered to pay her legal fees and damages despite denying the allegations. He is also facing another lawsuit on similar grounds after another alleged incident after an NBA finals game in 2023. During this whole period, McGregor has been trying desperately to secure his next fight.
He recently pulled out of his UFC 303 fight against Michael Chandler last year with a broken toe. Reports also linked him with a boxing fight in India against Logan Paul or Jake Paul. There was also speculation that he could fight KSI. McGregor met the Paul brothers on their way to Donald Trump’s Presidential Inauguration. McGregor accosted the Paul brothers by saying that he wanted to make this fight. Meanwhile, the Paul brothers made it clear that McGregor was not able to call his own shots.
The Notorious has two fights left on his UFC contract. McGregor recently said the UFC is not behind those fights. However, when it comes to BKFC, McGregor appears to be a different character. He is a part-owner of the organization, which gives him more of a say. McGregor made his way to the presser later than usual. But rather than apologize for his behavior, he adopted a persona of a promoter who did not care what others had to say. McGregor gave a passionate speech about the event, whilst refusing to apologize for turning up late.
McGregor’s Speech
“Oh, Philly. Sorry I’m late. I don’t give a [damn]. I’m the big boss around here. Philadelphia, what’s up? I’m here to summon the gods of fighting into action. May they turn our combatants’ knuckles to knives. And on Saturday night, may we all bleed in the honor of Philadelphia’s rich fighting history. May we, as Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s organization, the alien of combat sport, rise above the night’s sky and rain down blows viciously, and prove our worth against any deniers,” McGregor said
But McGregor has suffered a lot of pushback following his civil sexual lawsuit, with several brands cutting ties with him. But BKFC President Dave Feldman is not one of those who is looking to distance himself from McGregor. The President made it clear that he would back The Notorious. McGregor is seen as a significant member of expanding the BKFC.
Reports indicate that the organization is looking to hold a $25 million new tournament. It is believed that up to 50 countries could participate, with the winner earning that prize. There are also suggestions that if the tournament goes well, the prize money could increase to $100 million. McGregor’s outspoken nature and his personal brand will be vital in pushing that forward.
