Fans React To Jake Paul’s KFC Training – ‘Looks Like He Has A Tape Worm’
Jake Paul has ruffled a few feathers with his training videos ahead of his Mike Tyson fight, with the Problem Child showing off what appears to be a fat suit.
Paul faces Tyson on November 15, the first time Netflix will host a combat sports event. There has been mass controversy about whether the fight should go ahead due to safety reasons. Tyson pulled out of the original July 20 date after suffering from an inflamed ulcer. Paul still went ahead with the date as Mike Perry stepped in. Paul dropped Perry numerous times before stopping him in the sixth round.
Tyson has not had a professional fight since 2005, when he lost to Kevin McBride. Since then, he has only had one exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. Tyson has made several changes to his camp heading into this fight. He has revealed that he is not smoking weed, has imposed a ban on sex and has also resorted to eating raw meat. But Tyson is a recovering alcoholic, which could pose a risk.
Tyson’s Health
“In older people, the brain tends to lose volume. This lengthens the bridging veins and makes them more vulnerable to rupture. Bleeding from these torn veins causes a collection of blood that presses on the brain. This causes confusion, loss of consciousness, neurological disability and, in some cases, death. Alcoholism is known to accelerate brain shrinkage, and it appears that Tyson has this as a past risk factor,” Stephen Hughes (Lecturer in Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University)
Paul has had to bulk up significantly since he usually fights at cruiserweight. The Problem Child has bulked up to over 200 pounds, and he will then try to cut down to get to an optimum weight. However, he has been trolling Tyson with his following videos. One of the videos shows him with a big belly, clearly from a fat suit, as he does bench press.
Paul’s Training
The other footage shows Paul eating KFC from his sofa with the fat suit, showing a big belly. While Paul appears to be taking things lightheartedly, he knows plenty is on the line. A defeat against Tyson would cause severe damage to his brand, especially since he wants to become a world champion in the future.
He has also targeted a fight with Canelo Alvarez, something which would not happen if he cannot beat Tyson.
There is also a lot of money on the line. Paul is expected to get over $20 million. That is without any sponsorships. It will also draw in numerous casual fans since the fight occurs on Netflix. Paul will also make his debut in MMA under the PFL. Tommy Fury and Tyrone Woodley are some of the names being mentioned. But before he considers those fights, he must get past Tyson. His social media antics should not be taken seriously as a way to judge whether he will come out on top.
