Floyd Mayweather, who celebrates his 49th birthday this Tuesday, has released training clips as he prepares for his return to pro boxing.

Moving with the same fluid defense and fast reflexes that defined his career, Mayweather is officially back in camp. The first stop on Mayweather’s comeback is an exhibition against Mike Tyson. While it won’t impact his professional record, the bout carries immense cultural weight.

Reports indicate the fight is headed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, evoking the spirit of the historic “Rumble in the Jungle.” Recent footage shows Mayweather working the mitts, demonstrating that his conditioning hasn’t missed a beat during his nine-year hiatus from pro boxing.

While the Tyson fight is next for Mayweather’s return, there are also rumours over a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. Following Pacquiao’s recent return to form—including a majority draw against Mario Barrios last year—rumors are swirling that the two are finalizing a deal for a sanctioned professional bout in Las Vegas. Unlike their 2015 “Fight of the Century,” this sequel could take place at the Las Vegas Sphere. Either way, Mayweather is ready to make history.

“I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing – from my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards – no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience and generate more money with each event – than my events. And I plan to keep doing it with my global media partner, CSI Sports™/FIGHT SPORTS®,” Mayweather said
