Eubank And Benn’s Explosive Piers Morgan Interview – ‘I’m Going To Render You Unconscious’
Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored, as the pair had to be separated by security.
They will put their careers on the line when they square off on April 26. The fight is expected to sell out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. It has been a long time coming after their initial fight was called off due to Benn’s failed tests for Clomiphene. He was suspended by UKAD, who conducted an investigation. Although Benn can now box, fans are not aware of the reason for him being cleared.
The WBC initially said he could have eaten too many eggs. Eubank trolled Benn with that by slapping him with an egg during the face off of their kick off presser. Nigel Benn responded by grabbing Eubank’s throat, as the latter warned him he would not get his hand back if he did it again. Benn took those comments personally, which resulted in the pair firing verbal shots. Eubank left the interview abruptly once it was over, choosing not to hang around. “Sometimes fathers and sons, they don’t see eye to eye, they don’t get along, they fall out. It’s unfortunate what’s happening at this stage of my life with him. I don’t believe his father didn’t know what he was doing. I just don’t believe it. So that means Nigel Benn could’ve been capable of doing the same thing in his career.
“It got to a stage where I needed to step out of the shadow completely. It’s a big shadow…It got to a stage where I realized I had to separate myself from this huge character that’s always next to me. (Benn’s) different, his father kind of always let him do his own thing and kind of jump in and sink or swim.
“My father was always next to me and it got to a stage where I decided I needed to walk my own path. He was not happy with that decision. That’s the start of it. Then you have the situation with my brother passing away. That affected him in a deep way — it affected all of us. Mental health is a real thing. That incident coupled with the fact we were already not seeing eye to eye destroyed a large part of the relationship and it still hasn’t seemed to have recovered, unfortunately,” Eubank said

“Chris, I’m still going to render you unconscious. I want you to get up. I do want you to get up, I’m still going to flatten you, period. So I’m not trying to downplay it…Yes, I want you to get back up, I want you to carry on living your life, but I will splatter your head all over the canvas.
“You f****d up talking about my dad. What the f**k are you looking at? Come on, we can have it outside, no problem. Yeah we can. Think I’m mucking around? Threatening my dad. You think I’m playing games? Don’t ever talk to my dad like that,” Benn stated
