Dubois Appeals His Usyk Loss
Daniel Dubois’ team have formally appealed to the WBA in an attempt to overturn his loss to Oleksandr Usyk and demand a rematch.
In a bout that ended with Dubois being stopped in the ninth round, The Brit almost pulled off a victory had things gone differently for him.
In the fifth round, Dubois had dropped Usyk with a shot to the body. The Ukrainian was in complete pain, as he took over three minutes to recover.

“This is a boxing match and should be above board, but it was not a low blow. It’s a nonsense, a total nonsense. The governing bodies must order a rematch,” Warren said
And now Dubois’ team have acted with an official appeal.

“Daniel Dubois’ team sent a formal appeal for last August 26 fight, in which he lost by knockout in nine rounds against Oleksandr Usyk in Wroclaw, Poland.
“The WBA, now that it has received a formal appeal from Dubois’ team, will proceed with a review as per the regulations.
“Any decision made regarding this situation will be made under WBA rules and communicated in a timely and appropriate manner,” WBA
