Dillon Danis Calls Out Jake Paul, Wants To Appeal The Logan Paul Loss

In today’s boxing news, Dillon Danis has called out Jake Paul following his disqualification in his bout with Logan Paul.

Danis’ performance was far from impressive in a bout that failed to resonate with the fans, following the huge build up that had gone before. Although Paul did dominate proceedings, the failure to stop Danis casted a negative cloud over the fight.

This was particularly since Danis’ reluctance to throw showed a man who was intent on trying to avoid being stopped rather than having a genuine belief that a win was possible.

And so it showed as the bout was called off after Danis attempted two MMA moves. The failure to implement the guillotine choke and a takedown attempt was enough for the referee to disqualify Danis as a brawl then broke out afterwards.

And now that the dust has settled down, Danis put Jake Paul on notice.

Danis Calls Out Paul

“Hey @jakepaul your brother hits like a bitch if you knock me out I’ll retire forever and give everyone who likes this 2K,” Danis stated

Those comments did get the attention of Paul, who subsequently responded by not ruling out a fight. But rather than entertain a back-and-forth, Paul kept it short in an attempt to avoid Danis getting any further clout than what he had already been getting.

“I will always have my brother’s back. I chose not to respond to the puppet’s countless tweets as it would only amplify his harassment. But make no mistake, if Logan needed me to step in, I would take great joy in knocking that maggot out. See you soon,” Paul

Danis Will Appeal

“There was multiple offenses I’ll be submitting my appeal to the commission today,” Danis revealed

Paul On KSI-Fury

Aside from Danis, Paul turned his attention towards KSI. The latter was also on the card, having headlined against Tommy Fury. And much like the Logan Paul bout with Danis, their fight had a few controversial talking points.

Following the decision, which granted Fury a majority-decision win, KSI branded it a robbery. Those sentiments were based on the fact that Fury had been docked a point in round two for rabbit punching, while at the same time, failing to land anything of significance.

However, the actual scorecards had it the following: 57-56, 57-57 and 57-56. Judge Rafael Ramos’ scorecard was not added correctly as it should have been 57-56 to Fury.

Regardless, KSI felt he had been hard done by,which caused Paul to respond. After all, the latter has faced Fury having lost to the boxer himself. But unlike KSI, Paul took the loss well and vowed to bounce back which he has done with a win over Nate Diaz.

“I knew that, I expected that, this guy’s ego is out of control. Kicking and screaming, crying, stuttering, asking for an appeal. This guy is 30 years old acting like this, right? Take it like a man. Don’t be a sore loser. You lost. Tommy had a point deducted and you still lost.

“But I wasn’t impressed with either man. I thought Tommy fought way better against me, came in better prepared. Tonight he was flat footed, kind of awkward. And KSI was kind of good for one round in the first round and then got tired after that. But I still want to decapitate KSI. We have to finish what we started,” Paul stated

Clearly, there are still a few issues that need resolving moving forward. But if an appeal does not end up being successful, then there is enough of a narrative in place to see Jake Paul take on Danis. So will it happen? Time will tell.
