Dillon Danis Accuses Logan Paul Of Blackballing Him

Dillon Danis has singled out Logan Paul as the reason why he cannot get a deal with the UFC and WWE.

Danis is currently preparing for his first combat sports fight since 2023. He will face KSI on March 29. His last bout was a boxing fight against Logan in 2023. The fight generated much controversy due to Danis’ approach. He regularly shared posts on social media bout Logan’s wife, Nina Abdal. His focus was on highlighting her prior relationships in order to get under Logan’s skin. Logan ultimately resorted to legal action on the grounds of defamation.

The fight did not produce the fireworks that fans were hoping for. Logan was winning the fight without doing too much. The fight also produced an early finish after Danis was disqualified for a chokehold. The chokehold also failed, making it look a lot worse. Danis has now alleged that Logan’s partnerships with the UFC and WWE, via PRIME, means he has influence. This is allegedly stopping him from singing with them. Logan has yet to respond to this, but Danis made his feelings very clear.

Danis On Logan

“He won’t let me go to WWE events. WWE wanted to do stuff with me, and then he’s like, ‘No, don’t let him in.’ He hates me so much that he’s trying to get me out of everything,” Danis said. “He’s in the background of the UFC, I’m pretty sure he’s the one talking to them, saying not to sign me. Prime is a big say. If you sign that kid, I’m pulling Prime,” Danis said

Danis was also interested in appearing on The Ultimate Fighter, but his plans didn’t work out. He is making steps for his MMA comeback, as he will face Tony Ferguson in the Global Fight League. Danis has been training with Alex Pereira for that fight. Dillon wanted to appear on The Ultimate Fighter with a view to joining the UFC. Several big names like Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have appeared on the franchise. However, it seems that Hunter Campbell, the TKO Group executive, dismissed Danis’ plans because there were doubts about his commitment to fighting.

Danis On TUF

“I wanted to go to the UFC, that was the plan. So basically, we never got to Dana [White]… I went to the UFC for Pereira [vs. Jiri Prochazka 1], I saw the matchmaker, Mick Maynard. He came to me and said ‘We saw the pop in the crowd for you, we want to sign you’. I was like, okay, he can’t say that and not mean it…I was like, alright, we’re in. We were talking to Hunter [Campbell], and he was just like, he’s going to make trouble and we don’t want that. He’s too controversial.

“So, The Ultimate Fighter was coming up. This is the one, this is the one that’s DC [and Chael], that would’ve been pure cinema… They were like, no, we don’t want to do it. 1oo% [I was serious], would’ve been the biggest numbers they’ve ever had…[Hunter] was just like, he’s going to go into the house, make the most trouble and not fight.” Dillon Danis concluded. “It’s the same thing that everyone says. It was so annoying,” Danis said
