Dillion Danis’ Sparring Failure Goes Viral

In today’s MMA latest headlines, Dillon Danis has hit back at criticism that he has received in response to his sparring.

The MMA fighter is currently getting ready to face Logan Paul in the run up to their crossover fight on October 14th, 2023. And as part of their process, the two have been firing verbal shots at each other.

Danis has been sharing posts on social media, which have been targeting Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal. The posts have centred around her numerous relationships in an attempt to show that she has a high body count.

In response, Logan responded to making comments about Danis’ late father as the feud threatened to spill over. But now the attention has turned towards Danis’ sparring.

In the video, Danis can be seen sparring Alex Pereira. But given that both men are not professional boxers, Danis’ sparring raised a reaction which has now caused him to respond.

Danis’ Sparring

“I only sparred Pereira. That’s f****** warming up. Do you know how hard Pereira hits? He hurt me, he was like, ‘Boa.’ Then we sparred a hard six rounds, 100 percent. How many people would do that? You think Logan Paul could last 100 percent with Pereira? He was going 100 percent, so stop f****** discrediting my boxing,” Danis

That is not the only thing that could play against Danis. The latter has not been in a fight for around four years. In addition to this, Danis has been hampered by serious injuries during this period. This included serious surgeries on his knees in an attempt to rehabilitate himself.

“I think when you have two knee surgeries, it will never be 100 percent. Boxing is so easy compared to MMA. I think no one cares. The thing with me, I’m so hated, or now I guess I’m loved, everybody always just wants to put me down. I don’t mind it, because I bring it upon myself. But no one ever just gives me credit for anything,” Danis stated

Danis On KSI

Not only that, but Danis will be making his boxing debut. That has naturally raised questions over where he would go next following a loss.

A rematch with Paul would be out of the question. Meanwhile, KSI has been ruled as a contender. The duo had been on course to face each other only for the fight to break down.

This was on the grounds that KSI had allegedly made last minute stipulations over the weight cut, which did not sit well. So moving forward, Danis won’t face him.

“Dillon Danis says he never cared about fighting KSI because he’s a nobody. The KSI fight was never the fight. It was always against the Paul’s. Like no one cared about the KSI fight. He’s a nobody. He’s not a fighter. It was always just back and forth issue between me and the Paul’s.  So, this is the real fight. And look how much build-up this one has. You know I built this whole card by myself really,” Danis
