Devin Haney Vs. Regis Prograis Weigh-In Results
Devin Haney and Regis Prograis made weight for their junior welterweight clash on Saturday.
Verbal exchanges between the two fighters have marred the build-up. Haney’s camp has promised to stop Prograis even though he has not had a knockout in four years. Meanwhile, Prograis’ response throughout the build-up was that he would ‘hurt’ Haney. Prograis’ WBC belt is at stake with a win for Haney, making him a two-weight world champion.
As for Prograis, victory propels him to a PPV star with unification fights against Teofimo Lopez, Subriel Matias and Rolando Romero being options. Haney came in at a career heaviest at 140 following his move up from lightweight, while Prograis weighed 139.
Haney-Prograis Reaction
“He’s a bum. I’m going to show it. Saturday, tomorrow, I’m going to show he’s a f****** bum,” Haney
“I’m going to f*** Devin up tomorrow. Ain’t no stopping me, I’m f****** Devin up tomorrow. F*** the Haneys,” Prograis
