David Morrell Jr. And Sena Agbeko Make Weight For Their Super Middleweight Clash
David Morrell Jr. and Sena Agbeko made weight as they gear up for their super middleweight bout on December 16th, 2023.
Morrell arrives into the fight as the favorite. His record stands at 9-0, which includes eight knockouts. The Cuban has spoken about his desire to secure the biggest fights with Canelo Alvarez and David Benavidez moving forward. He arrives into the fight with a first-round stoppage of Yamaguchi Falcao.
But Agbeko will provide a tough test. The Ghanian is also known for stopping his opponents. His record stands at 28-2, and 22 of those wins were by knockouts. He fought as recently as November, securing a second-round KO of Bruno Romayin.

But now he has overcome those issues as the Nevada State Athletic Commission cleared him. Morrell Jr. weighed in at 167.5 pounds, while Agbeko weighed 167 pounds.
In chief support, Chris Colbert and Jose Valenzuela face off in a lightweight rematch. Colbert came out victorious in the first fight. The feat was Valenzuela’s second on the bounce. Colbert’s sole loss has come at the hands of Hector Garcia, making him a tough opponent to beat. Colbert weighed 134. 5 pounds, while Valenzuela hit the scales at 134.
