Danis Picks KSI To Beat Tommy Fury

In some boxing news, Dillon Danis has picked Tommy Fury overcome KSI in their upcoming fight on October 14th, 2023.

Fury will face KSI following the former’s win over Jake Paul via a split decision to give the latter the first loss of his career. Thereafter, a rematch had been talked about only for Fury to move on to face KSI.

Once again, Fury will face a fairly-inexperienced boxer as he attempts to damage the state of Youtube/influencer boxing. Fury is the favourite given that he has faced tougher opposition, which is why Danis backed KSI to come out on top.

Danis On KSI

“Tommy Fury is going to kill him, I don’t know if he will knock him out but he will definitely just jab the s*** out of him and just outpoint him. He might knock him out though, KSI is nothing good he is very sloppy. He just swings his arms, he’s an easy fight,” Danis

Danis is well aware of what KSI is capable of having been in conversations to face the fighter himself. However, talks broke down after disagreements over the weight class. KSI had allegedly demanded a last minute change to the weight which Danis did not approve of.

“I feel like this fight won’t happen. I think they’re starting to get scared. I think they saw clips or people like you saying I was going to win. They’re trying to make weird things in the contract now two weeks before. I feel like they’re looking for a way out. If they want to go and make all these stupid rules in the fight [they can]. It’s not a professional fight so they’re trying to do everything [to] handicap for me,” Danis stated

Danis On Paul

Outside of that, Danis must now prepare to face Logan Paul on the same day. The build up has been marred by personal insults on both sides.

Danis has been making personal insults against Paul’s fiancé Nina Agdal in reference to her alleged high body count, while Paul has directed insults towards the MMA fighter’s late father. And with so much being said publicly, both fighters will now have to back it up.

And yet, Danis hit back at Paul on the grounds that he had gone out of his way to promote fight. The bout has now garnered so much more interest than it otherwise would have done, as shown through Danis’ following on X which has reached around one million.

And at a time when the sport of boxing has been accused of not putting on the biggest events, Danis’ comments have gone some way to making the fight relevant.

“Logan should be thanking me on his knees for promoting this fight; he literally couldn’t sell honey to a bee,”  Danis

Both fighters have talked a lot in the promo for the fight, so the question moving forward is who will come out victorious. Time will tell. Find all the latest boxing news and MMA breaking updates on boxingblitz.
