Dana White Ignored Logan’s UFC Fight Request
Dana White reportedly ignored Logan Paul’s wish to fight in the UFC.
Logan is currently campaigning in WWE, having established himself in the sport following his last boxing bout. Paul beat Dillon Danis in 2023 after the latter was disqualified for attempting a chokehold during their boxing bout. Logan’s appearance in WWE could theoretically have made a UFC appearance more probable. The UFC and WWE merged to form TKO Group Holdings Inc. That increased the prospect of fans seeing crossover fights. Michael Chandler appeared at Monday Night Raw last year to call out Conor McGregor amid continual links over a fight.

Former WWE fighters have also made a name for themselves in the UFC. Brock Lesnar is an example of that, having fought in WWE and the UFC. Logan was targeting an appearance at UFC 300. That would have been a historic move for the UFC’s 300th show. He was also aiming for an appearance at UFC 306. That card took place at The Sphere, as the UFC made history by holding the first combat sports events at the arena. Logan has also trained with Paulo Costa and Israel Adesanya. However, neither of his wishes materialized.
“I’d probably fight at 185, which is a tough f*cking weight class. At one [Alex] Pereira was [in the weight class], DDP [is the champ now]. It would’ve been fun to [fight] Izzy at one point. But my skill is wrestling, I am a wrestler by trade. Yeah, [I trained] with Paulo [Costa at the PI]. I could get one in, for the right opponent, but it wouldn’t be ‘DDP’ dude. I’m not fighting for a world title…” He continued, “I told Dana [White] for UFC 300. I texted him and said, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard at the Sphere’. He basically completely ignored me. Which, I think, spoke volumes. I haven’t bothered him about this since,” Logan said
Logan And The Paul Brothers
White does not have the best relationship with the Paul family, namely Jake Paul. The latter has been very vocal about his feelings that UFC fighters should be paid more. White has also shut down Jake’s insistence on facing Alex Pereira amid links over a boxing fight. White has also made it clear that he wants fighters to stay in their lanes, often shutting down crossover fights. The sole time he allowed it was when Conor McGregor boxed Floyd Mayweather in 2017. Jake was also critical of White’s achievements in boxing after the CEO of the UFC bashed Jake’s fight with Mike Tyson.
“Dana White has been a boxing promoter his whole career. All these nut riders need to do their research. His TV show failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighter’s first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down. Now Conor McGregor is a hostage. Free Conor,” Paul said
Logan, just like Jake, failed to get White’s attention.
