Conor McGregor’s Latest Training Footage

Conor McGregor shared footage from a sparring session at SBG Ireland with PFL fighter Eoin Sheridan.
“The Notorious” can be seen moving fluidly and testing his timing against the 6’5″ welterweight. Sheridan is currently undefeated at 4-0 in the PFL Europe welterweight division. As a fellow SBG Ireland product, Sheridan has been a primary training partner for McGregor during his 2026 camp.
The timing of the footage coincides with the UFC’s upcoming June 14 UFC White House card. McGregor has not had a UFC fight since the 2021 defeat to Dustin Poirier, where he broke his leg. A UFC 303 fight against Michael Chandler was also called off after Conor suffered a broken pinky toe in training. However, with Conor back in training, there is real optimism that the fight will happen.
Conor’s Sparring
“I think if the opportunity arises for them to make a deal with Conor, I think they make it happen. Fighting at the White House is going to be a once in a lifetime thing, most likely. I can’t imagine them doing this again or it becoming a regular thing. Again, same reason with Jon Jones. If you have the opportunity to fight at the White House, you do it. You take advantage of that, and I think if the opportunity does arise, I’m leaning toward they make it happen with Conor one way or another,” Din Thomas said
Naturally, there are questions over who Conor could face. Nate Diaz is one of the contenders who has been mentioned. Diaz has not had a UFC fight since beating Tony Ferguson in 2022. Since then, he has had two boxing fights, losing to Jake Paul before bouncing back with a win over Jorge Masvidal. Diaz and Conor faced each other twice, with their rivalry tied at 1-1. Nate has said he wants to come back, with a Conor trilogy on his mind.
“Let’s not pretend I didn’t start an entire division by giving value to all these people who claim to be the best. I gave them opportunities and warned them about the strongest matches. I have unfinished business and I plan to go and get what’s mine as soon as possible. The first to start a division and the strongest of them all. “You’re welcome, see you soon. I’m coming. Yeah, of course I want that match. We’ll see what happens. Time will tell,” Diaz stated
