Conor McGregor On Musk Vs. Zuckerberg And More

Conor McGregor has given his take on a potential cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
Musk and Zuckerberg sent the MMA community into mass excitement when they teased the idea of a fight.
Musk expressed that he was ‘open’ to a cage fight, as Zuckerbeg demanded a location. Since then, the Italian Ministry of Culture has stated that the coliseum in Rome could be used as a venue.
Meanwhile, Musk and Zuckerberg have been training with MMA stars. Musk was pictured training with St George Pierre, while Zuckerberg was with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
With that being said, McGregor backed the event if it happened under the UFC.
“I’m interested. Are they gonna go ahead with it? Is it gonna happen? If it happens under the UFC banner, I’m with it. It has to happen under the UFC banner, and I’m with it.
“I hope they go ahead with it. Their pockets might be large, but is the talk cheap? They said it. Are they gonna do it now? I’m excited to see how it unfolds,” McGregor
McGregor’s Future
Outside of that, McGregor’s own future is unclear. The ‘Notorious’ was expected to return to the UFC this year, with a potential fight against Michael Chandler.
While there is no official confirmation of this yet, the calls for McGregor to return are only growing. This is particular since McGregor and Chandler continue to face each as coaches on TUF 31.
As of now, McGregor’s team is losing 0-7 with the potential for a whitewash heading into a last bout.
And given that McGregor has not taken that well, as shown by the Irishman’s shove on Chandler during the series, McGregor has his own battles.
And yet, Chandler ressaured fans that he would fight McGregor.
“Conor’s coming back. There’s one guy he’s fighting: His name’s Michael Chandler, he’s from High Ridge, Missouri.
“We are gonna put butts in seats, it’s gonna be an electrifying performance, but I knock out Conor and then maybe he retires after that – we’ll see,” Chandler
