Conor Benn Left With 'Egg On His Face' After Eubank's Slap

Chris Eubank Jr. slapped Conor Benn with an egg in a controversial kick-off press conference.

The clash takes place from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on April 26 in a fight that has long been talked about. The fight was first agreed in 2022 at a 157-pound catchweight. It never happened after Benn tested positive for Clomiphene. The boxer said he was innocent as an investigation began. Benn was suspended, while the WBC said it could have been due to an overconsumption of eggs. While Benn has said he is cleared, there is still uncertainty amongst the public.

It is not clear if Benn’s defense was that he had no Clomiphene in his system, or if he had proven contamination. The boxer has not publicly stated the exact reason why he was cleared.
