Brock Lesnar Named In Sex Trafficking Lawsuit
Brock Lesnar, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has been mentioned in a sex trafficking lawsuit.
According to the Wall Street Journal, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit claiming Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis had taken part in sex trafficking activities against her. The lawsuit alleged McMahon sexually abused Grant numerous times. Grant claimed she was coerced into making sexual content for Lesnar as the WWE was trying to resign him.
Grant and Lesnar reportedly were exchanging messages after McMahon had provided her number. They were on course to meet, but it never happened as poor weather conditions prevented Lesnar from travelling. But Grant claims McMahon attempted to traffic her to Lesnar in March 2022 and demanded that she send him explicit photos.
Lesnar’s Problems
“Today’s complaint seeks to hold accountable two WWE executives who sexually assaulted and trafficked Plaintiff Janel Grant, as well as the organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to the abuse and then swept it under the rug. She is an incredibly private and courageous person who has suffered deeply at the hands of Mr. McMahon and Mr. Laurinaitis. Ms. Grant hopes that her lawsuit will prevent other women from being victimized. The organization is well aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of depraved behavior, and it’s time that they take responsibility for the misconduct of its leadership,” Ann Callis (Grant’s attorney)
Since then, McMahon has resigned from his role of a chairman of TKO Group Holdings Inc, leaving Lesnar and him with plenty to address.
From one combat sports star to another, Gervonta Davis‘ trainer Calvin Ford has been extradited to Nevada following charges related to ‘assault with a deadly weapon.’
The Baltimore Banner states that Ford was apprehended by the authorities when he was exiting the Upton Boxing Gym in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 29, 2023. The alleged offence occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada, as an arrest warrant was issued on October 16, 2023. Ford’s bail was $20,000 as he waited to be transferred to Nevada. He has now been transferred there, which took place on January 17, 2024. Davis’ other trainer, Kenny Ellis, maintained that Ford was innocent.
Calvin Ford’s Issues
“Coach Calvin ain’t the type of guy that out here getting in a bunch of drama. I can’t stress it enough, Calvin is innocent. He didn’t do nothing wrong,” Ellis said
The authorities claimed they received a call from Floyd Mayweather’s Boxing Gym from two men. They allegedly stated Ford needed them to move his 2021 Cadillac Escalade from Baltimore to Las Vegas. The fee was $2,000, but given that Ford’s car was damaged, he offered to pay them a partial. It is then claimed Ford showed his gun.
“Ford lifted his shirt and exposed a black firearm and stated, ‘you don’t have any problems and I don’t want any problems, get out of here before I kill you,” court documents.
Ford’s lawyer, Carl Arnold, states there is no footage showing Ford brandishing a gun.
“My client never assaulted them, never brandished a weapon. None of the alleged facts. So we’re looking forward to the preliminary hearing to see number one if they even show up, but number two to, you know, vigorously dispute these accusations.”
