Boxing Schedule September 2023
The September 2023 boxing schedule is out, and this is what fans can expect this month.
Liam Smith will take on Chris Eubank Jr. on September 2nd, 2023, as the latter aims to gain revenge after a TKO in round four.
Victory for Smith would show he is the better fighter in the sport of boxing. Therefore, a loss for Eubank may result in him walking away from the sport.
Other big bouts this month include Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo. Alvarez will defend will super middleweight titles, as Charlo moves up two weight classes from 154.
Victory for Alvarez is expected, given that he is the heavy favorite. However, a win for Charlo would put him down as an all-time great.
Furthermore, fans can also see Joe Joyce facing Zhilei Zhang on September 23rd, 2023. Joyce was stopped in the sixth round in the first fight.
Therefore, he will have to up his game as the southpaw stance from the Chinese caused him numerous problems.
