Rapper Blueface, otherwise known as Johnathan Jamall Porter, has confirmed that he was stabbed at a boxing gym in Los Angeles.
According to reports, CCTV showed that the stabbing occurred at the 7000 block, Reseda Boulevard, as per the Los Angeles Police Department.
Thereafter, Blueface was taken to hospital to ensure that he received any necessary medical attention. It is alleged that the defendant was in a black Tesla, as an investigation is ongoing in order to hold the person responsible to account.
As a result of this incident, Blueface’s upcoming fight with Salt Papi on October 14th, 2023, will not go ahead. That has understandably left the rapper disappointed.
Blueface On The Stabbing
“I won’t be able to fight October 14th due to a injury won’t have enough time to heal don’t say I ducked none bro came with a dog an a knife at 10am,” Blueface
Shakur On Wilder Vs. AJ
In contrast, Shakur Stevenson has predicted that Deontay Wilder will stop Anthony Joshua.
The two are reportedly close to getting a fight made following AJ’s win over Robert Helenius. Thereafter, Eddie Hearn confirmed that a fight could be finalized in the next two to three weeks.
That would give the fans the fight they had been waiting for. After all, talks over an undisputed fight in 2019 between the pair had broken down.
But with both fighters having no belts to hand, the fight may not have as much as it had in terms of importance. However, that did not stop Stevenson from giving his opinion on the matter.
He was adamant that Wilder would knockout Joshua, given that the latter’s style is not showing too much by way of confidence. After all, despite stopping Helenius in the seventh round, the former was out-jabbing AJ.
In addition, Joshua was heard stating during the rounds that he was struggling to land the right hand. That is why Stevenson only saw a win for Wilder.
“Wilder by knockout. I like Joshua, but he seems lost right now, changing trainers. He seems like he’s looking for somebody to help his career, and I feel like he probably should be the one helping his own career. Yeah, Wilder, he punches so hard. Imagine street fighting him. Wilder is a beast, man,” Stevenson
