Bill Haney Calls Out Ryan Garcia For Being Fake

Bill Haney has criticized Ryan Garcia by calling the boxer a fake as the feud between the two camps continues.

The pair have not been on the best of terms ever since Garcia boxed Bill’s son Devin Haney in April. Garcia dropped Haney three times to secure a shock victory via a majority decision. But the relations turned sour after Garcia failed VADA tests for Ostarine. Garcia denied having any intentional usage whilst also stating that the amount in his system was not enough to enhance performance.

That did not matter with the boxing authorities, as Garcia was banned for one year. He is on course to return to the ring next year, as he will be allowed to box from April 2025 onwards. There has been talk of a rematch between Haney and Garcia, but several obstacles need overcoming. Haney recently wanted Garcia to enroll into VADA testing within 48 hours to remove any chances of this happening again.

Garcia’s VADA Testing

“Ryan Garcia and Team Garcia, if you’re talking about wanting a rematch, enroll in the drug program in 48 hours. VADA is waiting on you. The next move will be on you, Ryan Garcia, and Team Garcia while you’re fat-mouthing. Let’s see how much you want the rematch. He was fat-mouthing at the shoe store. He mentioned my name, and you know when you mention my name, I’m going to pull up,” Bill Haney stated

Garcia hit back by stating that he would not be doing such a thing. He also stated that he did not owe the Haney camp anything, nor did he need them. Garcia has also come under fire for presenting a fake persona during the build-up. There were concerns that Garcia was suffering from mental health issues. After the victory, he later admitted that some of it was made up to hype up the fight. However, his behavior since then has shown that he is struggling with some mental health issues.

Garcia’s Image

He was arrested for reportedly causing more than $15,000 worth of damage at a hotel in Beverly Hills. Garcia also revealed that he would enter rehab to deal with his issues. That has raised concerns over whether Garcia will return as the same fighter. Bill also questioned Garcia’s actual pulling power. This was because Garcia has yet to win a world title. Had he made weight for the Haney fight and not failed VADA tests for Ostarine, he would have been the WBC Junior Welterweight Champion.

Bill could not understand how Garcia was able to call the shots, given that he has no titles. However, boxing has shown that commercial pulling power is also based on how many tickets one can sell. Garcia showed he is a star after selling more than 1.2 million PPVs for the Gervonta Davis fight. He was also a large part of the reason why people wanted to see the Haney fight. The Dream is not seen as the biggest ticket seller. But Bill did not see Garcia in that way.

“Man, I’m hearing all this yappin’ from Lying Ryan who hasn’t even signed up for random testing yet—screaming from the mountaintop like he’s got a belt to back it up. But let’s keep it real—ZERO championships, just fake headlines,” Bill Haney said
