Benn Splits With Hearn To Join Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing
Conor Benn has split from Eddie Hearn to join Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
The move marks the end of a decade-long partnership and signals a continued rivalry between Hearn and the UFC CEO. Benn, now 29, joins a Zuffa stable that already includes stars like Jai Opetaia. Benn’s departure comes after having had major backing from Matchroom Boxing.
After a two-year absence from UK rings following two failed drug tests in 2022, Benn saw his suspension officially lifted in late 2024. He then avenged his only career defeat by beating Chris Eubank Jr. in a 12-round unanimous decision last November. By joining Zuffa Boxing, it has drawn a strong response from Hearn.

“I misjudged the character. And again, I’m not gonna hang him out to dry, and he will say: ‘Well, it was a big offer.’ But when I received the email from his lawyer, I texted him and said: ‘I think we should have a call. I think, for everything I’ve done for you, I think I deserve a call. And he said ‘no’, and I was like: ‘Man… f***… I can’t believe it.’
“I just don’t know what to say, other than I just felt that everything that we gave him, the loyalty that we gave him, the support we gave him, would be enough to talk it through – or just get close to a number, but there wasn’t really the interest.
