Abdullah Mason Vs. Sam Noakes Predictions – ‘Too Strong, Too Powerful’

The vacant WBO Lightweight Title is on the line as Abdullah Mason faces off against Sam Noakes on November 22, as boxing pros picked their winner. 

The title is vacant after Keyshawn Davis was stripped for failing to make weight for his fight against Edwin De Los Santos. Mason enters the title fight with ten consecutive stoppage victories, beating Jeremia Nakathila in his last bout. Meanwhile, Noakes enters the bout coming off a stoppage win over Patrik Balaz, which was his second stoppage victory from his last three fights. With all of his previous contests having taken place in the UK, this trip to Saudi Arabia is a step up in competition and venue.

Pre-Fight

“With those fights potentially being 12-round fights, it would give a lot of entertainment to the fans. It would involve a lot of work which I’m prepared for and I feel like there’s  a whole lot of fun coming up. I’ve got high expectations of myself, so for me to be competing for a world title, I feel it’s been a reality that I could do it.

“I believed in it, we’ve worked hard towards it, and I’ve got the right team around me with my father and brothers. Everybody has been pushing me, so being here for me is no surprise. As long as I stay focused, there is no telling the heights I could go to. There is no ceiling on the limits,” Mason said

“It’s a winnable fight for me and I’m going in there with that attitude. That isn’t just me saying it for interview purposes, either. But I know I have to be on my A-game and it’s got to be my best performance because he’s a class fighter. We’re both coming into it at a good stage in our careers, obviously he’s a bit younger, but I’m at my prime now physicality-wise. I’ve put the work in. It sounds cliched but I’ve got to be the best version of myself and I think that will be enough,” Noakes stated
