Joe Rogan has reacted to the tension between Dana White and Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn.

The feud started following White’s entry to Zuffa Boxing that resulted in him signing Conor Benn from Matchroom Boxing after which Hearn signed UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall to his talent agency. By signing Aspinall, many see it as a response to White’s recent foray into boxing.

Hearn has been a vocal critic of White’s new venture, Zuffa Boxing, claiming the UFC boss doesn’t understand the nuances of the boxing business. White has dismissed Hearn’s critiques, often labeling the British promoter as “clueless” regarding how the UFC operates. What started as trash talk has evolved into a personal feud involving talk of a boxing fight. Rogan has now given his take on the situation.

Rogan Reacts

“(I’ve been following it) a little bit. Well, the beef between those two, I don’t know the root of it, I think it’s essentially that it’s competition and that Dana is entering into the boxing space and Eddie Hearn is entering into the MMA space because now he’s a manager of Tom Aspinall, which is very interesting. Anything that gets fighters more money, I’m for and if more attention, more money, more different promoters, more people competing to give people higher purses. The real problem with MMA is there is nothing, there is essentially the UFC and everything else is a distant second.

“Oh, that’s funny, Dana can box, he can really box. I’ve seen Dana hit mitts before, I’ve seen Dana spar, Dana can actually box… I don’t know how much of it he’s doing these days, he’s so f—— busy… I think it’s probably just talk. Eddie Hearn is a tall guy, though, he’s a big dude… I don’t wanna see it but I’ll watch, though,” Rogan said
